A program designed to bring AI into people’s real work.
Corporate Artificial Intelligence adoption initiatives often focus on two extremes: knowledge of the available tools on one hand, and the assessment of competitive impact on the other.
Between these two areas, a crucial step is almost always missing: the training and onboarding of the people who will use AI every day.
The program developed by base9 fills this gap, guiding participants from a critical understanding of AI to the concrete creation of their own tool based on Generative Artificial Intelligence. Because AI delivers its greatest value when it makes people more autonomous, not when it replaces them.
The four stages of the program
1. Understanding AI
AI explained clearly: characteristics, opportunities and risks, from the main algorithms to Generative AI. A focus on the main regulatory directions, including the AI Act, and numerous examples of practical application, calibrated to the participants’ professional context.
2. Your own approach to AI
Through the proprietary AI Based Challenge® platform, each participant manages a professional task with the support of Generative AI. The comparison between the different approaches that emerge becomes a moment of awareness. Eight metrics measure how AI is actually used and where improvement is possible.
3. Transforming your own work
The program moves from theory to practice: our method helps participants identify the areas of their own work and services where AI can generate value. Through Data Strategy work, the available data and information are assessed and transformed into a structured knowledge base, preparing the necessary documents and prompts.
4. Creating an AI tool
The program concludes with concrete implementation: participants write the prompts to build a multi-agent RAG chatbot (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), based on their own documents and content, testing and refining it until they obtain an assistant that can potentially be used in their daily work.
You are the starting point: professional experience and content at the center
Each program is built starting from the participants’ professional experience and content: the cases, documents, tasks and real challenges of their work become the material used to train and apply AI. We do not propose abstract or generic cases: the workshop works on the daily activities of the people in the room, making learning immediately transferable.
For this reason, each project is calibrated to the type of use participants already make, or could make, of AI: the starting level, role requirements and function objectives guide the creation of the program, which is tailored to your team.
Scalable, flexible, measurable
The program is designed to adapt to very different organizational needs:
- Numbers: from small groups to large-scale projects, with dozens of participants for each event
- Format: in person, online or in a blended format, to integrate with the needs of participants and their context
- Measurability: thanks to our proprietary platforms, it is possible to observe people’s AI usage patterns, in compliance with the Human-in-the-loop paradigm and the AI Act
The proprietary base9 platforms
AI Based Challenge© is the platform developed internally for Learning & Development projects: it enables the creation of ad hoc contexts in which people manage tasks in business scenarios with the support of AI. Human-AI interaction is observed through 8 proprietary metrics, which reveal three latent dimensions of subjective usage patterns, highlighting levels of effectiveness and areas for improvement.
AI Workspace is the platform that allows RAG chatbots to be built using real documents, with full user control over the knowledge base and the prompts that guide Large Language Models. The result is contextualized, verifiable and up-to-date answers, based on the organization’s proprietary information.
An investment in autonomy, not just knowledge
The “Working with Artificial Intelligence” program does not simply introduce people to AI: it builds lasting operational skills, reduces the time spent on repetitive activities and prepares people — and the organization — for the way of working that lies ahead.
